Tottenham Hotspur vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
Wolves travelled to Tottenham Stadium ahead of their ash with Tottenham.
The game started with a fine display from the home side. They were the first to register a yellow card in the game after Pierre-Emile Hoejbjerg committed a tactical foul as he stop the counter attack from the away side. The game ended in a goalless draw in the first half despite the attempts from the two sides.
Back into the second half , the away side, Wolverhampton wanderers, had one of their players name on the list of the yellow card in the fifty -sixth minutes . He was shown a yellow card after he committed a tactical foul while trying to stop a promising counter attack from the home side.
Tottenham Hotspur started a dangerous attack that was pioneered by Dejan Kulusevski . He made a very accurate pass and gave his team mate Heung-Min Son the opportunity to score. Heung-Min Son made good use of the ball as he played the ball . Unfortunately for him , the ball made contact with the goal post .
In the sixty-fourth minute, Heung-Min Son swing the ball from the corner kick spot and Ivan Perisic contact with the ball and lob the ball in the air and Harry Kane heads the ball into the net to put his side in front.
In the sixty-seventh minute,Nathan Collins and Harry Kane received a yellow card as they both engage in unsportsmanlike conduct.
The game ended with a score line of one goal to nil in the favor of Tottenham.
Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa
Steven Gerrard's side, Aston Villa traveled to Selhurst Park ahead of their clash with Crystal Palace.
The game was an interesting one with fireworks begining in the early minutes of the game.
The away side were the first to break the deadlock . The first goal was scored by Ollie Watkins in the fifth minutes.
Crystal palace gave them a feedback two minutes later courtesy of a fantastic foish from Wilfred Zaha.
A goal from Jeffery Schlupp was ruled offside in the twenty- sixth minutes and the score line remained at tie.
John McGinn received the first yellow card of the game as he made a reckless foul on Odsonne Edouard - to prevent the promising counter attack.
Wilfred Zaha also received a yellow card when he committed a foul on Mc Ginn in the thirty-nineth minutes.
In the fifty- eight minutes, Wilfred Zaha doubled the lead for the home side after missing out the first shot– a rebounce from Emiliano Martinez gave him the opportunity to kick the ball in the other direction and this time he scored.
In the seventy- first minute, a fantastic pass from Tyrick Mitchell became the assist for the third goal scored by Jean Phillipe Mateta. The third goal sealed up the three points for the home team.
Jeffery Schlupp received a yellow card when he committed a foul Boubakar Kamara in the seventy- fifth minutes.
The game ended in favour of the home team, Crystal Palace.
