Nigerian woman finally released after 10 years in prison Without Trial

She was released by Oluwatoyin Taiwo, a judge on the Lagos State Supreme Court. The judge was shocked to learn that Benson had been in jail for ten years without trial. Benson ended up in jail after quarreling with her friend and roommate. , Imade, resulting in the death of the latter, who stabbed Imade with a broken bottle after cutting it off with a razor. IMade died after a month in hospital, and Benson was arrested.
